 POST-OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT TESTING (POET™)

ENSURE NEW APPLICANTS HAVE THE ABILITES TO PERFROM JOBS THEY ARE BEING RECRUITED FOR
“The best way to reduce injury-related expenses is to not have an injury in the first place.”

The adage is true; however, there are numerous challenges to effectively and legally screen a potential employee’s ability to perform the job on a safe and dependable basis. Hanoun has been developing Post-Offer of Employment Testing (POET) programs for Fortune 500 companies for years without a single finding of liability for legal non-compliance! In fact, Hanoun has been helping employers remediate penalties associated with non-compliant testing programs. Hanoun develops and implements tests that are accurate representations of the physical demands of a job based on objective technology and science. POET programs have saved employers millions of dollars each year by selecting only the employees that demonstrate the true ability to safely perform a job.

Hanoun will work with the existing personnel to fit the testing process within the operating structure of the employer. Hanoun provides technology, program development, training, education, certification and oversight to ensure compliance to legislative and operational protocols. This is ideal for testing the candidates subsequent to the offer of employment.

THERAPY TRACKING / BASELINE TESTING (THERAUDIT™)

Physical and occupational therapy can have a tremendous impact upon restoring an individual to their job. Appropriate therapy can also reduce the extent of permanent disability or impairment in a Workers’ Compensation case. Unfortunately, most healthcare providers are unable to document the true extent of physical recovery and compare it to the requirements of the job. In fact, many providers default to a set number of visits and then discharge the patient without concern as to the employer’s potential liabilities.

TherAUDIT™ program specifically require therapists to baseline a patient at the commencement of physical therapy, and then track progress on an objective, unbiased basis and compare the progress to the true demands of the job. Employers, case managers, claims examiners and physicians access the results on-line in order to expedite the return-to-work, whether it be to the date of injury job or modified or alternate work. A return to work is based upon actual performance capabilities, not an educated guess!

The cost of any of the Hanoun program is only a small fraction of what is being spent on Workers’ Compensation and Long Term Disability Insurance premiums. Workers’ Comp premiums alone average 4-5% of the employee’s monthly wage, which equates to the premium for an employee who earns $10.00 per hour costing $64 – 80 per month. Hanoun solutions usually eliminates 5-10% of tested subjects due to their physical inability to perform the work. One client saved over $2 million on a $15,000 investment in the first year by testing only 104 employees. The return on investment is easily demonstrable.
