The software included with all Hanoun Technology is an intelligent database management program combined with real time data acquisition designed specifically for the rehabilitation market. All testing is documented in real time graphical analysis. The software provides automatic calculation of peak and average force values, as well as automatic calculation of coefficient of variation values. Standardized assessment protocols include written and pictorial instructions on the monitor detailing correct testing procedures.

Hanoun's Objective Documentation Evaluation System (ODES) software is designed as a total patient management system allowing for networking, user level passwords, smart templates (ODES 2000 and higher), quick printing of notes, custom reporting, cover letters, statistical reporting, etc. The flexibility built in to the software offers evaluators the ability to create any number of tests with just a few clicks. Reports are simple and in clear, everyday English.

AUTOMATED IMPAIRMENT RATING SOFTWARE

The Automated Impairment Rating Software automatically calculates the impairment rating and provides the necessary protocols for administering the impairment evaluation properly. Errors in performing an impairment evaluation have plagued physicians due to the complexities associated with the calculation of impairment rating. With the Automated Impairment Rating Software the chances of making a calculation error are eliminated. The software allows the physician to prepare a separate report of impairment and the detail graphs of supporting tests can be included for reliability purposes.

Patient Management

The ODES software tracks all aspects of patient information, including generic items (name, address, telephone numbers, alphanumeric file numbering to match your current system, social security/insurance number, hand dominance and emergency contact) and specific case information (family physician, referral source, height, weight, attorney, start and end dates, employer, occupation, last day worked, insurance contact, policy and claim numbers, case management company and contact and areas of complaint). When combined with a digital camera, ODES even stores a digital picture of the patient in the file to be displayed on screen and on the first page of reports. A patient can have multiple cases to separate various occurrences (e.g. one case for a motor vehicle accident and another for a workers' compensation claim).

User Level Passwords

Password protection and user level settings ensure that only those with appropriate levels can either see sensitive information or perform certain functions. For example, the system administrator can prevent staff from either accidentally or purposefully deleting patient information or tests.

Templates

Each of the note screens in ODES has a template section that allows the user to create any number of templates. Using a feature called Smart Templating (ODES 2000), the user can have any field from the patient and case information automatically populate the template when applied to the patient's file. For example, the patient's name, date of injury and injury locations could be brought into the note exactly where you designed the template to put it. This feature speeds up reporting time, improving efficiency and hence, profitability.

Quick Printing

Each of the note screens in ODES has a Quick Print feature. This allows the user to print the notes from that screen without having to go to the report section. The user can choose to print the current note, all notes or notes within a specific date range. This is a powerful feature especially when coupled with the documentation of daily treatment. Now, when asked to supply treatment notes either with your invoice or at the request of a payer, you can do so at a click of a button. No need to have staff standing over a copier or deciphering your handwriting when notes are returned because they are unreadable.

Reporting

Custom reporting allows the user to determine what notes and tests to print within a specific date range. Even the title is customizable. Printed in full-color and with automated analysis of test results, the report enhances the professionalism of the evaluator.

Full FCE Report Writer

The FCE report writer, with point and click options to expedite report preparation, takes all information including text and functional data and automatically generates a standardized report. The formatted report uses easy to read graphical and tabular format and is in full color. The report is customizable to fit the needs of the referral source.
